Irda Cautions Against New Types Of Risks

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Irda) today cautioned insurers about new type of risks such as terrorism. It also warned them of the possibility of a mismatch in their asset and liabilities on account of an uncertainty in the equity markets and lack of long-term debt papers.
