National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard) has sanctioned a loan of Rs 809 crore for irrigation projects in Uttar Pradesh. These projects will provide irrigation to 200,000 hectares of farmland across 67 districts. The bank has also sanctioned Rs 90 crore as loan to the Himachal Pradesh government for financing of 22 rural roads and bridge projects and minor irrigation projects in the hill state .
