Two Indian venture capital firms — Anil Ambani Group’s Reliance Technology Ventures and Nexus India Capital — have been named in the Red Herring Top 100 Global Venture Capitals.
The two firms got a place in the top-100 winner list compiled by Red Herring, a media company in the US, from among more than a thousand known and active venture funds across the globe.
“We are extremely proud of having been named a winner of the Red Herring Top 100 Global VC firms,” Reliance Technology Ventures (RTVL) CEO Harshal J Shah said in a statement. RTVL, which has advised or invested in deals to the tune of over $4 billion, works with and co-invests in leading venture capital firms across the globe, while Nexus India Capital is a leading venture fund with over $300 million under its management.
Firms to make it to the list largely hailed from the US.
