The Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India today met here with its Governor Raghuram G Rajan presiding over it.
The Central Board meets at least once every quarter in Chennai, Mumbai and Kolkata on rotation.
RBI Board Members -- Anil Kakodkar, Kiran S Karnik, Nachiket M Mor, G M Rao, professor Dipankar Gupta along with Deputy Governors H R Khan and R Gandhi -- among others attended the meeting, an official spokesperson said.
Earlier, Rajan inaugurated the financial literacy gallery, which explains the basic functionalities of a bank, at RBI Chennai branch.
