Rupee trades weak in morning trade

Dollar demand by importers, corporates affects rupee

The rupee was trading weak in morning trades due to demand for dollars by oil importers and corporates.

At 11:00 am, the rupee was trading at Rs 62.39 compared with yesterday's close of Rs 62.32 per dollar.

The stock market indices are in the red and that was also impacting the rupee.

The rupee is seen trading in range of Rs 62.90 to Rs 62.10 for the rest of the day by currency dealers.
