UBI to launch mobile banking

"The bank expects to launch the service by the end of June and is currently undertaking the process of implementation," UBI Executive Director T Y Prabhu said.

The bank also plans to offer full-banking services to its customers through mobile phone with the service rollout.

These include account-to-account money transfer, mobile payments, account status enquiry among other services, Prabhu said.
