For women entrepreneurs, the bank will offer interest concession of 25 basis points in the MSME advances. Additionally, 25 per cent of CGTMSE fees in respect of women entrepreneurs will be borne by the bank, H S Upendra Kamath, chairman and managing director of the bank said here.
These schemes are part of the Women's Day celebration offers from the Bank, he said. The bank also announced that it would adopt one girl child for financially supporting her education till graduation in all the semi-urban and rural branches to be opened by the Bank in 2013-14.
Kamath said the Bank would also open an all women urban micro finance branch in Bangalore and all women micro finance branches at Mandya, Dharwad and Haveri.
