ACC Appointments

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments:
 
(i) Shri Kewal Kumar Sharma, IAS(UT:83), at present in the cadre, as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development in the vacancy of Shri A.B. Joshi, lPoS.
 
(ii) Shri B.N. Satpathy, lES(80), at present in the cadre, as Adviser, Inter State Council Secretariat, Ministry of Home Affairs in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary in the vacancy of Shri Vinod Agrawal, lAS(JH:80).
 
(iii) Shri K.P. Krishnan, lAS(KN:83), Director General and Additional Secretary, Directorate of Currency, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance as Additional Secretary, Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development vice Shri Prabhu Dayal Meena, lAS(MP:80).
 
(iv) Shri Ajay Tyagi, lAS (HP:84), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change as Additional Secretary and Director General, Directorate of Currency, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance vice Shri KP. Krishnan, lAS(KN:83), on his relinquishing the charge of the post.
 
(v) Shri Anup Chandra Pandey, lAS (UP:84), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment as Additional Secretary, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence in the vacancy of Shri Anuj Kumar Bishnoi, lAS (UP:81).
 
(vi) Shri Navneet Singh Kang, IAS(PB:83), Director General and Additional Secretary, Central Government Health Scheme, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in the vacancy of Shri R.K. Jain, lAS (HP:81).
(vii) Shri Karan Bir Singh Sidhu, lAS (PB:84), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation as Managing Director, TRIFED, Ministry of Tribal Affairs in the vacancy of Shri A.K.Angurana, IAS (JK:80).
 
(viii) Shri R. Rajagopal, IAS (TN:84), Managing Director, NAFED as Additional Secretary, Department of Agricultural Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture vice Shri Arvind Kaushal, IDAS (79), on his relinquishing the charge of the post.
 
(ix) Shri Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi, IAS (PB: 84) as Adviser, Inter State Council Secretariat, Ministry of Home Affairs, in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
 
(x) Shri T.Jacob, IAS (TN:84), Joint Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution as Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training by temporarily downgrading the post vacated by Shri Bhaskar Khulbe, IAS (WB:83).
 
(xi) Shri Alok Kumar, IAS (AM:84), Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions as Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission in the rank and pay of Joint Secretary by temporarily downgrading the post.
