Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) has entrusted Asian Development Bank (ADB) for undertaking feasibility study of 'Vizag-Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC)'. ADB has since submitted a draft 'final report' on Conceptual Development Plan (CDP) of VCIC. Two proposals for setting up of 'Mega Leather Cluster' in the State of Andhra Pradesh have also been received under Indian Leather Development Programme (ILDP) of this Department.
