Railways Constitutes Task force for Leveraging of Idle Space on Railways to Generate Additional Revenue

The Indian Railways have a lot of idle space in coaches, wagons, trains, railway stations, consumable items, utensils, beddings etc, which could be used for advertising, publicity and other purpose to generate additional revenues. Under the directions of the Minister of Railways Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, a Task Force has been constituted to deliberate on this issue and submit a detailed report suggesting broad policy and operational framework and other relevant issues having a bearing in this matter.
