Carl Zeiss opens campus, production facility in Bangalore

Carl Zeiss India today inaugurated new campus and production facility in Electronic City, Bangalore.

Carl Zeiss, a global leader in the optical and opto electronic industry, is active in the fields of semi-conductor manufacturing technology, industrial metrology, microscopy, medical technology, vision care and consumer optics/optronics.

Built on an area of 240,000 sq ft, the new Carl Zeiss head office for India has 120,000 sq ft of built-up area which will accommodate close to 300 staff, the company said.

It will also have a warehouse and production facilities for coordinate measuring machines from industrial meterology business group and prescription lenses from vision care business group, it said.
