A new Glassdoor report finds that the best job in America is that of a data scientist, scoring a near perfect number of 4.8/5 in job score and a 4.5/5 in job satisfaction. Best-paying jobs in America are concentrated in health care, technology, and law. Of the 25 best-paying jobs covered in the report, 11 are in the tech industry, many in engineering. Physicians have the highest median base salary, coming in at $187,876. And coming on the best places to work, business management consultant, Bain & Company emerged at the number one spot leaving behind tech heavy-weights such as Facebook and Google. The report focused on US-based employees and analysed salaries that Glassdoor users entered on the site from February 2016 to January 2017. Only job titles with more than 100 salaries reported were considered for the study
