Razorfish has appointed Dinesh Swamy as senior creative director. He will be based out of Mumbai. He has previously worked on strategic innovations and integrated solutions across CRM, social media and online integrated campaigns for clients such as Idea Cellular, MTV, Reliance Mobile, LIC, Volkswagen, Parle, Renault, Hero MotoCorp and Visa, among others. He has worked with agencies such as Flip Media Corp, Tribal DDB India, Digital Law & Kenneth and BBDO Proximity.

The right customer fit

Avaya, a global leader in business communications software, has appointed Nidal Abou-Ltaif as president for Europe, Middle East & Africa (MEA), and Asia-Pacific. Ltaif will drive Avaya's 'customer-first' solution and outcome-based approach, and help customers achieve their digital transformation goals. Since joining Avaya in 2003 as the regional sales leader for the Middle East, Latif has been instrumental in expanding the company's presence in the rapidly expanding MEA region.

Social media innovation

Living Foodz from the Zee Entertainment stable has awarded its digital duties to Social Kinnect. The key responsibilities for the agency will be to launch and develop the brand with innovative use of social media and other digital platforms. The account was won after a multi-agency pitch. Social Kinnect is a full-service digital media service agency that offers services such as social media marketing and application development, online media buying, and digital video content, among others.

Sales push

SVG Media has appointed Akshay Mathur as senior vice-president of Komli Media. In his new role, Mathur will lead business operations as well as sales and marketing functions and will be responsible for its P&L. Prior to this, he was senior director of sales at Komli Media, before it was merged with SVG Media last month. Mathur joined Komli in 2011 and has 13 years of experience in both digital and print sales. He has earlier worked with The Times of India, The People Group and Jaypee Group in various sales and marketing roles.
