Retailers in FMCG sector outpaced other sectors in FY12 with 5.3 per cent growth in revenue and was the only sector which was recession-proof. In FY12 it accounted for more than half of the top 250 companies and two-third of total revenues of the top 250 companies , says a Deloitte report
