Aluminium up 0.3% on overseas cues

Pick-up in spot market demand also helped the trade

Aluminium futures for February up by 35 paise, or 0.31%, to Rs 112.60 per kg in 660 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the March traded 20 paise, or 0.18%, higher at Rs 113.45 per kg in 32 lots.

Prices rose as speculators enlarged positions.

Pick-up in spot market demand also helped the trade.

Data showing China and US are recovering raised demand outlook for the metals globally.
