Asian markets end in green

 

The Hang Seng added 404 points to 16,834. The Shanghai Composite advanced 25 points to 2,592.

The Straits Times ended 93 points up (4.5%) at 2,168 and the Taiwan Weighted Index soared 187 points (3%) to 6,567.

However the Seoul Composite slipped four points to 1,393.

Asian markets are mixed now after a negative start.

The Hang Seng has gained 35 points to 16,465.

The Taiwan Weighted has surged 187 points (3%) to 6,567. The Shanghai Composite has advanced 21 points (1%) to 2,588.

Meanwhile, the Straits Times is down three points at 2,071. The Seoul Composite has declined two points to 1,396.

Asian markets are down this morning.

The Hang Seng has slipped 105 points to 16,325.

The Shanghai Composite has declined nine points to 2,559. The Straits Times and the Seoul Composite have shed eight points each at 2,066 and 1,390, respectively.

However, the Taiwan Weighted has gained 73 points (1%) to 6,453.

The Nikkei is closed today.
