Asian markets end mixed

The Hang Seng and the Nikkei were marginally down  (0.5%) 117 points and 33 points to 17,862 and 9,647, respectively.
 
The Sanghai Composite slipped 35 points to 3,089.

The Straits Times and the Seoul Composite were marginally up five points to 2,271 and 1,434, respectively.

The Taiwan Weighted advanced 65 points to 6,715.

Asian markets have recovered.

The Hang Seng has added 118 points to 18,097. The Nikkei, however, has slippe don recovery worries and is now at 9,667 - down 14 points.

The Taiwan Weighted has gained 76 points(1%) at 6,726. The Straits Times is up 20 points (1%) at 2,286.

The Seoul Composite and the Shanghai Composite are flat at 1,434 and 3,119, respectively.

The Hang Seng has adavanced 144 points to 18,123.

The Nikkei has dropped 21 points to 9,660.

The Shanghai Composite has slipped 18 points to 3,106.

The Straits Times has advanced 19 points to 2,285 and the Taiwan Weighted Index has gained 73 points (1%) to 6,733.

The Seoul Composite is up marginally at 1,433.
