Asian markets end mixed; Hang Seng slips 87pts

The Asian markets displayed  mixed trend today.

The Hang Seng slipped 87 points to 15,583. The Nikkei was up 12 points at 8,755.

The Taiwan Weighted rallied over 2% (122 points) to 5,997. The Straits Times declined 14 points to 1,892, while the Seoul Composite was up four points at 1,337.
