Asian markets mixed; Hang Seng drops 150pts

Asian markets were mixed at its close.

The Shanghai Composite dropped 16 points to 2,959. The Hang Seng declined to 18,378, down 150 points.

The Nikkei advanced 175 points to 9,958.

The Straits Times, the Taiwan Weighted and the Seoul Composite were marginally up at 2,325, 6,432 and 1,390 respectively.
