Asian markets open positive; Hang Seng up 226pts

The Asian markets have opened on a positive note today morning.

The Hang Seng has advanced 226 points or 1% to 20,626. The Nikkei has added 43 points or 0.5% at 10,145.

The Shanghai Composite Index is marginally up four points at 3,066.

The Seoul Composite and the Taiwan Weighted Index are flat at 1,590 and 7,446, respectively.

The Straits Times however is marginally down at 2,742.
