Atul Auto has soared 9% to Rs 163 after reporting a 38% year-on-year (yoy) growth at 3,204 units for the month of August 2013. The country's fastest growing manufacturer of three wheeler had sold 2,322 units in the same month year ago.
Total sales for first five months (April to August) of the current fiscal have increased by 18% at 13,778 units on yoy basis, Atul Auto said in a statement.
The stock opened at Rs 146 and touched high of Rs 164 on NSE. A combined 3,460 shares change hands on the counter till early noon deals on BSE and NSE.
