The automaker had sold 305,465 units in June 2014. It had sold 345,438 units in the last month May, 2015.
Motorcycle sales during the month increased 10% y-o-y to 287,582 units as against 262,202 units in June last year, Bajaj Auto said in a filing to the BSE.
Commercial vehicles sales during the month remained flat at 43,735 units compared with 43,263 units in the year-ago period.
Exports however, grew 16% at 156,074 units in June as against 135,074 units a year earlier, it added.
The stock opened at Rs 2,550 and touched a low of Rs 2,528 on the NSE in early morning trades. A combined around 102,000 shares changed hands on the counter on the NSE and BSE.
At 0956 hours, the stock was up 1.9% at Rs 2,574 on the NSE.
