Bosch has strengthened on the bourses after reporting a jump in net profit in the first quarter. The shares are trading at Rs 10,710, higher by Rs 287 or 2.7%, on the BSE.
Auto component maker Bosch posted a 25.60% rise in its net profit at Rs 326.29 crore for the first quarter ended March 31, 2014. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 259.77 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal. The company's net sales rose to Rs 2,431.41 crore during the first quarter.
The company follows January-December financial year.
The shares had opened at Rs 10,394 and have touched a high of Rs 10,750 and a low of Rs 10,270 thus far.
