Brandhouse Retails, a part of the S Kumars Group, today got listed at Rs 106 on the National Stock Exchange.
The scrip opened at Rs 106, which was also its intra-day high. However, it failed to keep the momentum of the opening trade and dipped to a low of Rs 20.50.
Last year, S Kumars Nationwide had demerged its retail business into Brandhouse Retails Ltd (BHRL). The company listed 5,19,94,195 shares on the bourse.
It was later quoting at Rs 21.45 on the NSE. Over 41.88 lakh shares changed hands on the exchange.
BHRL manages exclusive outlets for the following brands -- Reid & Taylor, Belmonte, Stephens Brothers, Carmichael House and leading international luxury brands like Escada and Alfred Dunhill.
Meanwhile, the Bombay Stock Exchange in a circular has said that the daily circuit filter would be kept open today "in order to enable the members to deal in the scrip at a realistic price level".
"Trading members are cautioned not to enter orders at unrealistic prices," it added.
