Bulls rear for a comeback

Investors and traders, who have taken a hit in the recent sell-off, have something to cheer about in the near future. In a poll of market participants conducted by Edelweiss, a larger section of the respondents forecast a firm market in the month after the Budget on Thursday. Obviously, the key is in the hands of the FM that will drive the market direction post-Budget with markets hoping for positive surprises, Edelweiss said. As investors are pinning a lot of hopes on the Budget, analysts said any disappointment could roil the markets. (Click on graphics)
