Cardamom futures for March declined Rs 8.20, or 0.83%, to Rs 977.70 per kg in 575 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the April contract traded lower by Rs 6.80, or 0.66%, to Rs 1,013.90 per kg in 81 lots.

Prices went down due to adequate stocks available in physical the market on higher supply from the producing belts.

Sentiment weakened further as traders booked profits at prevailing levels in the midst of a subdued demand.
