Cardamom falls 0.8% on high supply

Increased supplies from producing regions reduced the prices

Cardamom futures for March fell by Rs 8.40, or 0.78%, to Rs 1,055 per kg in 327 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the February contract eased by Rs 7.70, or 0.75%, to Rs 1,016.50 per kg in 749 lots.

Adequate stocks in the spot markets on increased supplies from the producing regions and subdued demand pulled down the prices.
