Cardamom falls almost 1% on profit-booking
Sluggish spot demand kept pressure on the trade
Press Trust of India New Delhi Cardamom prices fell by 0.93% to Rs 736.40 per kg in futures trade today as speculators booked profits at prevailing higher levels amid sluggish spot demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the June contract fell by Rs 6.90,or 0.93%, to Rs 736.40 per kg in 395 lots.
The July contract traded lower by Rs 5.40, or 0.70%, to Rs 762.90 per kg in 52 lots.
