Cardamom prices traded up by 1.81% to Rs 743 per kg in futures trade today after speculators created positions supported by rising demand at spot markets.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in October rose by Rs 13.20, or 1.81%, to Rs 743 per kg, with a business turnover of 7 lots.

Cardamom for delivery in November increased by Rs 3.70, or 0.49%, to Rs 744.30 per kg with a trading volume of 361 lots.
