Press Trust of India New Delhi
Cardamom futures for February rose by Rs 13.80, or 1.37%, to Rs 1,020 per kg in 1,106 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the March moved up by Rs 7.60, or 0.72%, to Rs 1,052.90 per kg in 679 lots.
Fresh positions by speculators driven by pick-up in spot market demand due to marriage season supported the trade.
Restricted arrivals from producing regions also helped the uptrend.
