Castorseed down 2.3% on aggressive selling

Castorseed for October contract slided by 2.19%

Castorseed prices fell by Rs 84 to Rs 3,563 per quintal in futures trading today following heavy selling pressure at existing higher levels.

Marketmen said profit booking by traders at every heights kept the prices under pressure.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, castorseed prices for September month dropped by Rs 84, or 2.30% to Rs 3,563 per quintal, with an open interest of 1,01,050 lots.

Near October contract slided by Rs 82, or 2.19% to Rs 3,656 per quintal, clocking an open interest of 1,00,310 lots.
