Castorseed prices rose by Rs 72 to Rs 3,870 per quintal in futures trade today as speculators created fresh positions on rising demand.
Marketmen said restricted supply and pick up in demand from consuming industries in spot markets mainly led the rise.

Most active September contract rose by Rs 68, or 1.67% at Rs 3,705 per quintal in 1,33,200 lots.
