Caustic soda falls on weak demand

Caustic soda prices fell by Rs 50 per 50 kg in the national capital today on weak demand from consuming industries and selling pressure. 

Increased arrivals from the producing regions also put pressure on the prices. Caustic soda flake declined by Rs 50 to Rs 1,350-1,450 per 50 kg. 

Traders said weak demand from consuming industries amid selling pressure from stockists mainly pulled down caustic soda prices in the wholesale chemical market. 

Meanwhile, prices of other chemicals ruled steady on scattered deals.
