Ceat gains on inking pact with Italy's Pirelli

The stock was up 3% at Rs 1,083 on the BSE.

Ceat is trading higher by 3% at Rs 1,083 on the BSE after the company and Italian tyre maker, Pirelli has entered an exclusive partnership for distribution of Pirelli’s global range of motorcycle tyres in the Indian market.

This sole partnership will leverage Ceat’s vast distribution and dealer network pan India, Ceat said in a statement.

Ceat’s ever-expanding network, Pirelli will offer its entire gamut of motorcycle tyres, it added.

The stock hit a high of Rs 1,088 on the BSE and has seen a combined 427,755 shares changed hands on the counter on the BSE and NSE till 09:44 AM.
