Chana slips 0.7% on higher output hopes

Increased arrivals from the new season crop affected the trade

Chana futures for May fell Rs 25, or 0.74%, to Rs 3,355 per quintal in 35,860 lots.

At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange (NCDEX), the April contract declined Rs 23, or 0.69%, to Rs 3,319 per quintal in 72,880 lots.

Increased arrivals from the new season crop amid reports of higher output this season affected the trade.
