Chana prices moved up by 0.54% to Rs 3,159 per quintal in futures trade today as speculators created fresh positions supported by a rise in demand in the spot market.

At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, chana for delivery in December rose by Rs 17, or 0.54%, to Rs 3,159 per quintal with an open interest of 80,110 lots.
