Citric acid down on reduced offtake

Citric acid prices fell by Rs 100 per 50 kg in the national capital today on the back of reduced offtake by consuming industries against fresh arrivals from producing regions.  

Citric acid-China declined by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 3,000-3,900 per 50 kg. Traders said subdued demand from consuming industries against increased arrivals from producing belts mainly pulled down the prices.
