Mustard seed
Mustard seed is trading at Rs 3,952 per quintal at Jaipur. For the week ahead, prices are expected to head towards Rs 3,938 per quintal. Production for the season is estimated at a record of 7.3 million tonnes, up 25 per cent year-on-year. Record production and weak demand from stockists would keep prices under pressure going forward.

Turmeric prices in the Nizamabad market are currently trading at Rs 5,982 a quintal. Weak domestic demand is likely to put pressure over prices in the coming days. Supplies are also adequate in the markets, and weighing on prices. Prices are expected to trade lower towards Rs 5,950 per quintal.
