Pepper prices are currently trading at Rs 70,514 a quintal. Short supply, coupled with lower than expected production, is lending support to prices. The uptrend is expected to continue and prices are expected to move towards Rs 71,500 a quintal.
Mustard Seed
Mustard seed prices at Jaipur are trading near Rs 4,600 a quintal. Prices traded higher, mainly due to buying by stockists. Despite higher prices year-on-year, arrivals at spot markets are lower than expected. Also, positive crush margins might keep demand from plants active in the coming days. Mustard seed prices are expected to trade with positive bias in the range of Rs 4,550 and Rs 4,650 a quintal.
