Dow drops 105pts; ADRs slide

The Wall Street slipped back on Thursday on weak jobless, housing data. The Dow Jones industrial average index plunged 105 points to 8,123. The Nasdaq shed 42 points at 1,465.

The Indian ADRs, too, ended with significant losses. Dr.Reddy's slumped 7.5% to $8.56. Wipro plunged 6% to $6.50, and Infosys tumbled 4.5% to $25.53. Satyam, Patni Computers, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and MTNL were down around 2-4% each.
