Gold futures slide 0.3% on weak global cues

Market analysts attributed the fall in gold futures to a weak global trend

Gold prices slide by 0.34% to Rs 30,649 per ten gram in futures trade today as speculators trimmed positions on weak global trend.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in October month fell by Rs 104, or 0.34%, to Rs 30,649 per ten gram in business turnover of 7,767 lots.

Likewise, gold for delivery in December traded lower by Rs 81, or 0.3%, to Rs 30,558 per ten gram in 499 lots.
