Gram, its dal move up on rise in demand

Barring a rise in gram and its dal on increased demand, other commodity prices remained stable in the wholesale pulses market today.

Market analysts said increased demand from retailers against slow down in arrivals mainly pushed up gram and its dal prices.

In the national capital, gram rose by Rs 50 to Rs 2,450-2,475, while its dal local and best quality moved up by Rs 100 each to Rs 2,850-2,865 and Rs 2,950-3,050 per quintal, respectively.
