Guarseed prices recovered by Rs 23 to Rs 3,020 per quintal in futures trade today on fresh buying by speculators.
Market analysts said buying by speculators against restricted supply at the spot markets, mainly influenced the trading sentiments.
Also, pick up in export demand and guar gum industries helped boost the trading sentiments, they added.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guarseed price for delivery in April rose by Rs 23, or 0.77 per cent, to Rs 3,020 per quintal, with an open interest of 78,000 lots.
Likewise, guarseed prices for delivery in March rose by Rs 19, or 0.65 per cent, to Rs 2,956 per quintal, with an open interest of 1,64,930 lots.
