The gainers were Gujarat Ambuja (up 1.08 per cent to $3.29), Ranbaxy (up 0.96 per cent to $14.69) and Larsen & Toubro (up 0.26 per cent to $7.77).

The only losers were Bajaj Auto (down 0.85 per cent to $10.46), State Bank of India (down 0.69 per cent to $14.35) and Reliance (down 0.08 per cent to $11.95).
On Thursday, among Indian American depository receipts, there were four gainers and five losers.
