The wholesale gur (jaggery) prices continiued to be asked at previous levels in the national capital today following scattered small buying against sufficient stocks position.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also finished on steady note in thin trade.
Market analysts said small buying support and adequate position of stocks, mainly kept prices unaltered.
Following were today's quotations per quintal:
Chakku Rs 2,250-2,300, pedi Rs 2,400-2,450, Dhayya Rs 2,400-2,450, and Shakkar Rs 2,550-2,600
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 1,875-2,000, chakku Rs 2,050-2,250 and Khurpa Rs 1,950-2,000
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,100-2,150 and Dhaya Rs 2,100-2,150
