Gur prices rose up to Rs 100 per quintal on the wholesale gur (jaggery) market today on fresh buying support by stockists and retailers, against less arrivals from producing regions.
At Delhi, gur pedi and dhayya prices rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 2,250-2,300 and Rs 2,300-2,350 per quintal, respectively.
Muzzafarnagar, gur raskat,chakku and khurpa were also traded higher by Rs 50 each to Rs 1,800-1,900, Rs 2,050-2,250 and Rs 2,000-2,050 per quintal, respectively.
In Muradngar, gur pedi and dhayya moved up by Rs 50 and Rs 100 to Rs 2,050-2,100 and Rs 2,100-2,150 per quintal, respectively.

Chakku Rs 2,200-2,250, pedi Rs 2,250-2,300, Dhayya Rs 2,300-2,350 and Shakkar Rs 2,400-2,450

Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,050-2,100 and Dhaya Rs 2,100-2,150
