Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd (VSNL) has bought equity in Tata Teleservices at par (Rs 10 per share) even as ICICI Securities , the consultant to the sub-committee looking into the proposed deal, had valued the Tata company at Rs 12.02 per share.
