Indian ADRs ended on a positive note on Wednesday along with gains on Wall Street led by material shares.
India's Telephone service provider MTNL ADR was up 2.5% for the third consecutive day. From the auto pack Tata Motors zoomed 2.4%.
Outsourcers also clocked gains. Infosys advanced 2.5%, Genpact gained 2.2% and Wipro was up 2.1%.
From the healthcare space, Dr Reddy's climbed 1%. From the metal pack, Sterlite Industries moved up 3.3% at $14.86.
Investors cashed in on banks, HDFC Bank spiked 3.1%, at $158.42 and ICICI Bank rallied 5.9%.
