It was a mixed day for the Indian ADRs on Thursday, as a majority of the ADRs ended the day negatively.
Satyam Computer Services was the highest loser for the day as it closed down nearly 2% at $2.90. Tata Motors also saw a near-2% dip at $30.15, while ICICI Bank slipped 1.5% at $49.71.
Another Tata entity, Tata Communications shed 1% at $11.06, and Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Wednesday's highest gainer, closed the day at $36.98 down 1%.
HDFC Bank, the only other banking ADR, also ended in the negative down nearly 1% at $165.47.
Patni Computer Systems was the top gainer on Thursday up 1% at $21.18, followed by Infosys Technologies at $74.85, and Sterlite Industries at $15.96, also up 1%.
Wipro at $15.27 and Genpact at $15.23 were the other ADRs to end Thursday's trading session positively. Both were up marginally by less than a percent.
