Jet Airways falls after huge block deals

About 25.15 million shares representing 29.54% of total equity of Jet Airways changed hands at price of Rs 566.35 per share.

Jet Airways (India) is trading lower by 1% at Rs 577 on back of heavy volumes on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

 About 25.15 million shares representing 29.54% of total equity capital of Jet Airways have changed hands at price of Rs 566.35 per share on opening trade via block deal, the BSE data shows. However, the name of the buyers and sellers are not immediately known.

The stock opened at Rs 568 and hit a high of Rs 590 so far on BSE. As many as combined 25.62 million shares have changed hands on the counter till noon deals against an average less than one million shares that were traded daily in past two weeks on BSE and NSE.
